DXBike is Visit Dubai's brand for the serviced 8.4 km cycle track at District One (MBR City), beside Meydan Racecourse — the same facility long known as Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park. The hub runs 05:00–22:00 with changing rooms, showers, benches and vending machines, while the floodlit loops themselves are free and open 24 hours, with rentals from about AED 50. DXBike is not an event: the annual mass ride on Sheikh Zayed Road is a separate thing called Dubai Ride, still running under its own name — next edition Sunday 1 November 2026.

DXBike vs Dubai Ride — two different things

The names get muddled everywhere, so let's separate them. DXBike is a place: Visit Dubai's brand for the serviced trackside hub on the 8.4 km District One circuit at Meydan, open year-round for everyday riding. Dubai Ride is an event: the one-morning-a-year mass ride when Sheikh Zayed Road's fourteen lanes close to cars and tens of thousands of riders take over the city — 40,327 of them at the record-setting 2025 edition. Dubai Ride was not renamed DXBike; it still runs under its own name as the opening event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, and the next edition is confirmed for Sunday 1 November 2026, with free registration opening at dubairide.com in early October.

The track

The DXBike track is Dubai's most polished everyday riding venue: an 8.4 km purpose-built circuit with 4, 6 and 8 km loop options, glass-smooth asphalt, full floodlighting, and zero road crossings since the RTA's 2023 underpass beneath Al Meydan Street. The loops are free and ridable around the clock; the serviced hub keeps 05:00–22:00 hours. It shares its home with Meydan Racecourse, and the skyline view down the back straight is the one on every Dubai cycling Instagram. This is the same facility we cover in full on our Nad Al Sheba Cycle Park page — and if you arrived here searching for the old “Meydan cycle track”, our Meydan page explains that naming history.

Registration is free but mandatory, with bib collection at Zabeel Park in the final days before the event.
