Bike Rental in Dubai: Prices, Locations & How It Works (2026)

Bike share: Careem BIKE

For city riding, Careem BIKE is the only game in town and it's a good one: roughly 200 dock stations and 1,750 pedal-assist bikes concentrated exactly where the riding is: Marina and JLT, JBR, Downtown, Business Bay and the Jumeirah coastal strip. Official pricing (careem.com, VAT inclusive): pay-as-you-go with an AED 1 unlock, a single trip at AED 19 with 45 free minutes, a 24-hour pass at AED 29, a week at AED 59, or AED 99 monthly with 60 unlocks. Every ride carries a 45-minute cap before overage (about AED 10 per extra half hour). Dock-hop on longer rides to reset the clock. Beware stale numbers elsewhere: many guides still quote the old AED 20/50/75 structure that pre-dates the March 2025 pricing. Careem Plus subscribers get 30% off the day pass.

Track rentals: rent where you ride

Every major track keeps a fleet at the trailhead, so the bike is never the obstacle. At Al Qudra, the Trek Bicycle Store rents road, hybrid and electric bikes from AED 80 for two hours, with a helmet free of charge (pickups from 05:30, bookable at trekbikesuae.com). Its rate card runs from AED 80 for two hours on a hybrid or aluminium road bike to AED 200 on a carbon Madone, and the same bikes cost AED 160 to AED 400 for six hours, which is where the rate per hour drops sharply. Day hire starts at AED 240. Prices do not change between summer and peak season. Alongside it sit Hello Bike (from AED 99, at the Stick car park) and BikePark (about AED 75–100 for four hours, early hours) as alternatives. Nad Al Sheba rents from about AED 50 at the entrance to its free, floodlit 4/6/8 km loops, the easiest first ride in Dubai. For mountain bikes, EDGE Cycling inside Mushrif Park rents proper hardtails and full-suspension bikes from about AED 60/hour for the 50 km trail network, and in season Hatta Wadi Hub rents MTBs around AED 65/hour at the mountain trailhead.

Trek at Al Qudra: the full rate card

Trek publishes a price for every bike at every duration, so you can work out the exact cost before you drive out. Two things are worth knowing before you read the table. Two and three hours bill at a flat hourly rate, so the third hour costs the same as the first; the discount only arrives at six hours, which is priced at exactly double the two-hour rate, meaning you pay for four hours and ride six. And the day rates stop following the hourly logic entirely: on the hybrids a second day costs only AED 80 more than the first, so if you are hesitating between one day and two, take two.

All prices in AED per bike. A Trek Starvos helmet is included free. Optional extras: clipless pedals in six cleat systems (Look KEO, Shimano SPD and SL, Bontrager, Trek Elite, VP) at AED 15 each, a gel saddle cover or phone mount at AED 15, a Bobike child seat for 9–22 kg at AED 15, and Trek Velocis road shoes in EU 39 to 44.5 at AED 50.

Road bikes, beach cruisers & everything else

Visiting roadies have a settled benchmark: AED 200 per day for a carbon road bike, published by both Wolfi's (Sheikh Zayed Road institution, sizes 49–58 cm, MTBs from AED 250) and Revolution Cycles (Shimano 105 / Campagnolo builds, branches serving Business Bay, Motor City and Marina). The Cycle Hub in Motor City rents road, mountain and gravel bikes including long-term arrangements, with prices on request. At the leisure end, BYKY's stands at JBR and along Jumeirah rent cruisers from AED 20 per half hour (doubles AED 55, four-seat family Bergs AED 70), and BikePark's Kite Beach point runs afternoons at about AED 75 for four hours.
